American band Nothing More has just announced that they are cancelling all upcoming festival appearances in Europe for 2026 with a post on social media.
To the Nothing More family in Europe:
After a lot of careful consideration, we’ve made the difficult decision to step away from our European festival tour this summer to focus on finishing our new album.
The CARNAL era has taken us around the world for 193 shows, including three European tours and the biggest crowds of our career. It’s been incredible, but we need this time to recharge, be with our families, and make the best record we can.
Thank you for understanding. We’ll see you in 2027 with new music.

The American rock group Nothing More is based in San Antonio, Texas. The band, which was founded in 2003, struggled to have a consistent lineup and draw interest from record labels while making independent albums over the most of the 2000s. Along with other longtime members Daniel Oliver (bass) and Mark Vollelunga (guitar), the band’s basic membership was stabilized towards the end of the decade when longtime drummer Jonny Hawkins made the decision to become frontman and lead vocalist. After three years of self-funded recording of their fourth studio album, “Nothing More”, the band attracted the notice of Eleven Seven Music, a record label that signed them to a five-album record deal.
With several charting singles, including “This is the Time (Ballast)” that peaked at number one on the Mediabase Active Rock chart and number two on the Billboard Mainstream Rock chart, as well as “Mr. MTV,” “Jenny,” and “Here’s to the Heartache” all ranking in the top 15 of both charts, the album became the band’s breakthrough release in 2014.
While continuing to tour in support of their self-titled album, the band started working on a follow-up in 2016. “The Stories We Tell Ourselves”, their fifth studio album and second on a major record label, was released in September 2017. In addition to earning the band three Grammy Award nominations—Best Rock Album for the album, Best Rock Song, and Best Rock Performance for “Go to War”—the lead single, “Go to War,” outperformed the previous releases and topped the Mainstream Rock chart. With the release of songs “Do You Really Want It?” and “Just Say When” in 2018 and many North American concerts in 2019, the band kept promoting the album.
