Not everybody liked Ozzy Osbourne’s tribute at the VMAs – including The Darkness’s guitarist
Dan Hawkins, the guitarist and singer for The Darkness, was not pleased with the musical homage to the late great Ozzy Osbourne that was shown during the “MTV Video Music Awards.” As reported from theprp, in the aforementioned homage, Adam Wakeman, a former tour member of Ozzy Osbourne and Black Sabbath, Nuno Bettencourt of Extreme, Steven Tyler and Joe Perry of Aerosmith, and YUNGBLUD joined forces onstage for a medley of three Ozzy classics. Most members of that group performed at Osbourne and Black Sabbath‘s farewell gig in July of last year.
