Stavanger, Norway-based cosmic heavy rock band Kal-El have released a new standalone single, “Juno”, which is now available for streaming below and on popular platforms.
If you have followed the Norwegian act over the past few years, the track fits neatly into their established sound. Still, “Juno” keeps things focused and punchy, driven by thick fuzz riffs, catchy chorus, and the band’s familiar sci-fi-flavored atmosphere. Instead of stretching things out, the song goes straight for impact and leaves little room for excess.
Earlier this year, Kal-El released their sixth full-length album “Astral Voyager Vol. 1”. With that release still fresh, “Juno” feels more like a quick snapshot of where the band are at right now rather than a full shift in direction.
