Nordic Twilight release second single featuring Jemiina from Swansong

Nordic Twilight, a symphonic power metal band from Finland, released their second single and music video on April 14. The single “Winter Swan” features extreme vocalist Jemiina, from the melodeath band Swansong, who signed with Noble Demon recently.

Nordic Twilight is formed by singer Minna Tuusa and multi-instrumentalist Ville Koskinen (Psychework, Silentium). The two write music together and Koskinen plays most of the instruments. The first single “Sail Away“, released earlier this spring, represents the band’s more symphonic style.

“Winter Swan” has two very different female voices. Minna Tuusa says she wrote the lyrics of the song a few years ago and after the idea of the big contrast of different sounding female voices arose, they wrote the music. The message of the song is to tell that you can overcome difficult times and that there is light at the end of the tunnel.

Nordic Twilight is heading to the studio next to record their first full-length album.
