Nordic Noise 2025 presents a true world premiere and heavy metal surprise by announcing the first-ever official concert with Ardennery

Author Benedetta Baldin - 24.3.2025

Ardennery – “Break The Oath”  is a live show featuring Michael Denner and members of Artillery, performing material from the first three Mercyful Fate releases: “Don’t Break The Oath”, “Melissa”, and the debut EP.

It is with great pleasure to step on stage with musicians I have respected and known for a lifetime, performing legendary tracks that shaped my own career Michael Denner

Ardennery replaces Blitzkrieg, who unfortunately had to withdraw due to lineup changes. The up-and-coming progressive metal-rock band Only Human from Copenhagen will also replace Swedish Toxic Rose.

Tyketto returns to Denmark for the first time in 35 years!
The ultimate headliner of this year’s festival is the melodic hard-rock band Tyketto. The band has long been on Nordic Noise’s wishlist, and we are thrilled to finally have the iconic American band back in Denmark after many years! Get ready to sing along to classics like “Forever Young”“Wings”, and “Standing Alone”.

Creme de la creme from Sweden, Norway, and Denmark
From Sweden, we are proud to welcome Wolf, a classic heavy metal band with deep roots in speed metal. Speaking of speed metal, we also say hello to the new kids on the block, Crucible (featuring members from Impalers and Pectora), and Denmark’s biggest name in the genre, album-spotlighted Steel Inferno! And when we talk speed metal, we often also talk thrash. With a special 40th-anniversary show based on their classic album “Fear Of Tomorrow”, the Rødovre roots of Artillery will also take the stage at this year’s Nordic Noise. Other Danish bands include Manticora from Hvidovre, who have been touring heavily both at home and abroad. Local Statement will also perform, releasing their fifth album at Nordic Noise 2025, using the stage for their release party. On the more up-and-coming, melodic and progressive side, we’re excited to see Press To Enter and WTM perform. This year’s Norwegian addition features crowd favorites Stargazer, who have just finished their new album at Medley Studios in Vesterbro, Copenhagen, with Søren Andersen at the controls.
Alongside a packed music program, Nordic Noise also offers food trucks, a metal market (band merch stand & Targetshop.dk stand with a great selection of CDs, LPs, and merch), and signing sessions with performing bands. DJ Calle & friends will keep the music going during breaks, and for refreshment, Zeppelin Rock Bar from Vesterbro in Copenhagen will provide a well-stocked bar.
Nordic Noise 2025 will be a mecca for those who love hard rock and heavy metal – and for those who want a bit more speed/thrash metal edge. See you at Kometen in Hvidovre on May 9 and 10!
