Noble Sin release new single “Nebo”

Author Benedetta Baldin - 31.10.2026

Noble Sin, a five piece alternative rock band from Rome, have released “Nebo“, Ukrainian for “sky”. It’s out now on all platforms.

Singer Alina Lykholat is Ukrainian and has lived in Rome since 2011. Guitarist and manager Nikolai Fissenko is Russian and grew up in Paris. His family is from Saint Petersburg, though Fissenko is a Ukrainian surname. The other three members, Valerio, Antonio and Andrea, are Italian.

Alina wrote the lyrics in 2022, when the war broke out, and the band built the song in 2026. It asks a simple question: what if the soldiers in every army stopped obeying? There are more soldiers than officers, hence the line at the heart of the chorus: “We are an ocean against a drop of evil.“

Three sergeants in three different armies refuse to fire. The sergeants are invented, but the voices in the song are real: voice notes sent to the band by friends living in those countries. The final refusal arrives in three languages at once: English, Ukrainian and Russian.

“Nebo” is 3:12 long, at 145 BPM, with no explicit lyrics. It belongs to no single army: it is about every army.
