No Annie Hurdy Gurdy in Eluveitie anymore

In a recent post on Facebook Annie Hurdy Gurdy from the Swiss folk metal band Eluveitie stated her departure from Eluveitie:

“CLOSING THE ELUVEITIE CHAPTER

I‘m super sad to tell you, that I‘m no longer part of Eluveitie since the band decided to not have a hurdy-gurdy in their future line-up anymore.

I was supposed to come back for the latest two festivals after my injury and I was so much looking forward to be back on stage and meeting you all out there.
I am grateful for everyone I met on this journey and would like to thank you all for your kind support throughout this time. A special thanks goes out to the whole crew in front and behind the stages 

Closing a door means also opening a new one!
Keep an eye on the next weeks since there’s something huge coming up that might be the biggest project in my life so far. More infos coming soon here
