The third single from Canadian hard rock band Nickelback‘s latest studio album, “Everything Under The Sun,” is “Leave Me Behind“, as per theprp. On August 20, the diamond-certified group released the lyric video for their most recent song. “Everything Under the Sun” will be released on October 30th, just in time for Halloween.

“Everything Under The Sun” is the band’s first new release since “Get Rollin’” from 2022, and it comes at a time when one of rock’s most enduring outfits is seeing a resurgence. Nickelback continues to build on a history that has only gotten stronger with time, fresh off the triumph of their critically acclaimed documentary “Hate To Love: Nickelback” and the record-breaking “Get Rollin’” global tour, which was the fastest-selling and most popular tour of their career.

“Everything Under The Sun” captures the whole range of what has made Nickelback one of the biggest rock bands in the world, as the title suggests. Throughout the record, contemplative composition, indisputable melodies, enormous guitars, and the recognisable camaraderie that has characterised the band for over thirty years combine with towering arena-ready anthems. “Rattle The Cage” is the campaign’s lead single, an explosive preview of the album. The song, which is blisteringly fast, loud, and heavy, captures the electricity that erupts every night between the band and their fans in crowded arenas all over the world. “Rattle The Cage” embodies the feeling of community that has come to be associated with a Nickelback live performance, driven by thunderous riffs, soaring hooks, and unrelenting energy.

This album has every side of the band on it, there are songs that hit as hard as anything we’ve ever done, songs that take chances, and songs that remind us why we’ve been doing this together for so long. ‘Rattle The Cage’ felt like the perfect way to kick the door open — it has the energy we’ve been feeding off every night on stage, and we can’t wait for people to hear it. – Chad Kroeger
