In reaction to MrBeast’s new “TeamWater” campaign, Attila frontman Chris Fronzak recently criticized the effectiveness of well-known YouTuber, philanthropist, entrepreneur, etc. MrBeast’s 2023 altruistic efforts for clean water in Africa. By bringing together different content creators, the latter initiative is aiming to raise $40 million USD through teamwater.org in an effort to spread the word. Fronzak entered the debate on August 4, by leaving the comment below on MrBeast’s article announcing the start of the “TeamWater” campaign. Fronzak questioned whether Mr. Beast’s previous efforts were still effective in light of reports that the wells were in poor condition due to improper maintenance.
I see a lot of discourse about this, but NO ONE is mentioning the fact that Mr. Beast went to Africa & built 100 wells in 2023 & they all failed 1 year later due to lack of maintenance. I believe everyone should always help other people, but this idea already failed? https://t.co/lyYpcYRSB4— Chris Fronzak (@FRONZ1LLA) August 4, 2025
That’s literally a flat out lie. We recently had the 100 wells audited because of these false rumors (which erodes trust in philanthropic efforts and is not cool) and the wells are working…

Okay! Send me the audit that shows that ALL 100 wells are still working today and I'll send $5,000 to your new water project. https://t.co/PvDMmmnXSw— Chris Fronzak (@FRONZ1LLA) August 5, 2025
