Slovenian atmospheric black metal project Mossgiver has released a new single called “Renewer”, giving fans the first glimpse of the project’s upcoming third full-length album. The track arrived with little warning, and it sets a chilling tone as the act moves toward the record’s launch early next year.
Led by multi-instrumentalist Tilen Šimon, the project has built a reputation for bleak and nature-soaked soundscapes since forming in 2021. The new single pushes even deeper into that territory. It rises slowly, then blooms into sweeping melodies that carry a colder emotional weight. As a result, the song feels like a bridge between the project’s earlier rawness and a more refined atmospheric touch.
The album, also titled “Renewer”, is planned for release on February 6, 2026 through Sij MusicArt. The band confirmed that it will arrive in both digital and physical formats. Pre-orders are currently open, so fans will not have to wait long to secure a copy. The record will feature five tracks, and the title song hints at a more dynamic flow that moves between soothing calm and harsh, icy bursts.
