Mors Subita’s vocalist Eemeli Bodde is the new singer for Decapitated

Author Benedetta Baldin - 12.10.2024

Decapitated stated that Rafal “Rasta” Piotrowski, their singer, was leaving the band. He had joined the group in 2009. Since then, Eemeli Bodde, who is well-known for fronting Mors Subita, has been identified as his replacement. Due to his recently accepted employment, Bodde has left that group. Nevertheless, Decapitated will do a one-off gig with their original frontman Wojciech “Sauron” Wasowicz returning for a few songs prior to the official start of the Bodde era. Bodde will play his debut set with the band at that performance as well. They will play their 2004 album “The Negation” in the previously announced live concert, which will feature Sauron back behind the mic. It is scheduled for November 1st at Manchester, UK’s BEC Arena. That show will also include album performances from “The Ocean” (“Pelagial“), “Employed To Serve” (“Conquering“), “Discharge” (“Hear Nothing See Nothing Say Nothing“) and more.
