English singer-songwriter Morrissey has announced a UK and Ireland tour this summer. The trek kicks off on July 8 in Portsmouth at Guildhall and makes stops across the UK in Nottingham and Leeds. Then, “Moz” will be playing two nights at Dublin’s Vicar Street venue in Ireland (July 15-16), before playing in Liverpool at Empire Theatre and concluding on July 22 at London’s Troxy.
A successful artist for 36 years, Morrissey has had 16 albums hit the UK Top Ten as a solo act and 9 albums hit the Top Ten from his six years as the vocalist for The Smiths. Similarly, in the US he had two Top Ten solo albums and eight Top 20 albums.
