Spanish metal outfit Morgana vs. Morgana has shared a new track called “Kintsugi”. Listen to the track below.
The new track from the Valencia-based band delivers powerful rock fused with heavy metal, featuring its own identity and a devastating, polished sound.
Morgana vs. Morgana was formed in Valencia (Spain) in December 1992. From the very beginning, the band embarked on an intense and fertile creative journey that led to numerous recordings, including standout tracks such as “Coeur de Le Fay”, “Preguntas”, “Luz Visión” “3.57“, and “Hipnoterapia“.
In 2006, they introduced their first major album, “nébula”, to the public and the press. Entirely self-produced, the record was praised by both specialized media and listeners, who recognized it as one of the best national releases of the year. The acclaim highlighted the band’s bold commitment to self-management in contrast to the indifference of the mainstream music industry.
Refusing to give up, Morgana vs. Morgana continued their artistic evolution with a series of concept albums deeply rooted in a humanistic vision that permeates each composition. This creative development led to the release of “Sol Invicto” (2009), mixed by renowned producer Jens Bogren (Paradise Lost, Opeth, Katatonia) — a milestone for a band firmly devoted to the principles of artistic independence.
In 2011, they released “III… De lo Inevitable”, the first chapter of an ambitious trilogy of EPs inspired by the mythological figure of the Moiras. The series was completed with “II. En el Nimbo” (2014) and “I. El Camino Inverso Hacia la Luz” (2018).
From that point on, the band faced increasing challenges in promoting their work independently.
Nevertheless, despite both personal and structural obstacles, Morgana vs. Morgana displayed unwavering resilience with the release of the singles “Adornos” (2021) and “Sait-on Aimer?” (2023), both showcasing their musical maturity and creative freedom.
The latter single was accompanied by a music video generated with artificial intelligence, which had a strong impact among specialized media and fans alike, reinforcing the band’s commitment to innovation and multidisciplinary art.
In 2023, following the release of “Sait-on Aimer?”, the group began the process of healing and set the foundations for a new creative chapter, which will culminate with the release of their upcoming album in 2025: “Kintsugi”, a work that promises to be as introspective as it is revealing.
