Morbid Angel & more drop out of 2022 Maryland Deathfest, Deicide to pergorm “Legion” in its entirety

This year’s Maryland Deathfest has been met with some changes, including the departure of Morbid Angel from the bill. According to the festival’s organizers, Morbid Angel stated that they “will not be playing MDF or any other shows in the current climate.” Also dropping from the bill due to logistical challenges are:

Immolation, Profanatica, Akhyls and Sulfuric Cautery will be filling the spots vacated by the aforementioned acts. Additionally, Deicide will now be performing their 1992 sophomore album “Legion” in its entirety for the first time ever at the festival.

The updated daily lineups for the annual fest, which this year will be held across the Edison Lot, Rams Head Live, Baltimore Soundstage and Power Plant Live venues in Baltimore, MD from May 26th-29th, run as follows:
