Moon Shot published the fourth single “The Power”

The Finns’ first three singles (“Yes!“, “Shadow Boxer” and “Blackened Spiral“) caused a sensation in many countries around the world: as a band that was still unknown in many places, the songs made it onto the daily playlists of major radio stations and thus into the radio charts. Moon Shot achieved something that not even renowned bands manage: three songs from the same album being played on the radio at the same time. Unbelievable!

Today, the band presents the fourth single from their upcoming album “The Power”, which will be released on April 26, 2024 via Reaper Entertainment. This is the title track of the album. The song is now available on all popular streaming platforms.

The stunning new video was once again created by director Sami Joensuu.

“The Power is a song about the halos above of us. It’s the positively aggressive song soaked by killer drum beat and a dangerous bass line“, comments vocalist and lyricist Ville Malja and adds:

Lyrically The Power draws a dramatic picture of a moment in where anything could happen. It tells about moments we can’t control, no matter how hard we try or how clever we think we are. In the end we’re nothing but a group of cells floating in the darkness blessed with the ability to love. “Revolution happens in the space between the breaths / This is the moment of power / If you want it / Then you got it”

“Once I wrote the verse and chorus of ”The Power” and heard the first draft of Ville’s vocals on it, I knew this was going to be a central song in the album. The verse is a celebration of my electronic punk music roots. The guitar solo was also a fun journey into experimental sounds and out of the box guitar playing“, says chief composer, guitarist and producer Jussi Ylikoski. “The Power” has the electricity and punch to break the barriers of musical genres. It is a spicy and modern flavoured soup of rock n roll.“
