Michael Monroe: Music video for “Disconnected” released

The former Hanoi Rocks frontman Michael Monroe has released a new solo single, entitled “Disconnected“, along with a music video. You can check out the video below:

The music video was directed by Leigh Brooks.

Michael Monroe comments on the new release as follows:

“Technology was supposed to bring people closer together, when, in fact, people are more disconnected than ever. They’re looking at their phones and their computers and downloading stuff”

He goes on to say:

“And, you know, the Internet can’t take away the experience of being at a live show. You’re on stage, and you communicate with the audience who are there, in that moment. That’s where the magic really happens, and absolutely no program or device or computer can reproduce that!”

After “Rockin’ Horse“, “Disconnected” is the second single from Michael Monroe‘s upcoming 11th solo album “Outerstellar” which will be released on 20 February 2026 via Silver Lining Music and can be pre-ordered here.
