What started as an instagram post about haircuts, turned into one about revelations. For The Faceless and their co-founder Michael Keene, the past few years have been silent. Since 2022, the progressive technical death metal band from California has virtually been out of business. Although the band demonstrated promise on a number of albums, their inconsistent performance and shifting roster have undoubtedly hurt them over time. Perhaps the main cause of such instability has been vocalist/guitarist Michael Keene’s well-publicized battles with drug addiction over the years, but he also disclosed a neurological condition in 2022. But it looks like there is some light at the end of the tunnel. There is uncertainty as to whether Keene is working on content for The Faceless or even his 2018 solo project Slaves And Masters.
Alright boys. Settle down now. I am currently writing and recording new music after taking some much needed time off. So now that we have that cleared up, we can focus on my question. If you’re a dude, you’re welcome to answer, but just know it wasn’t my target demographic on this particular post. Hearts and kisses ♥️
