Metallica streams rehearsal version of “Holier Than Thou”

Thrash metal legend Metallica has released a pre-production rehearsal demo of “Holier Than Thou“, which was recorded at Bayview Studios in Richmond, CA on October 4, 1990. You can listen to the demo here:

The demo is taken from the band’s upcoming reissue of “Black” album which will be released on September 10th. The reissue will consist of live albums, interviews, demos & rough mixes, live and behind the scenes DVDs, and a bunch of goodies.

A tribute album titled “The Metallica Blacklist“ which features 53 covers of songs from the album done by the likes of Ghost, Volbeat, Corey Taylor will arrive on the same day.
