Metallica share pro-shot footage of “Sad But True” live from SoFi Stadium
Metallica have shared pro-shot video of their performance of the song “Sad But True” on August 25 at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles, CA. The “Black Album” classic was shot while the band played in front of a crowd of 80,000 fans who came to the SoFi Stadium at the first of their two shows at the venue, making it the largest crowd in the history of the stadium, which opened in September 2020. The crowd on Metallica‘s second performance of the weekend, on August 27, was of a similar size. The said performances are part of their “M72” tour, which features the band on two different nights playing different sets per city on a weekend.
