Throughout the year, the band has released samples from their remastered Grammy-winning album, due out on 10 September, and this time it’s a raw mix of “The God That Failed” from the Spring of 1991. You can listen to the version at the end of the story.

The deluxe edition of the album includes the album remastered on two LPs, three live LPs, 14 CDs of raw mixes, demos, interviews and live performances, six DVDs of behind the scenes footage, music videos and live performances, a 120-page hardback book, three picks and much more.

Also available on the same day is “The Metallica Blacklist” album, which contains 53 covers of the album’s 12 tracks.
