Metallica release performance of “Master Of Puppets” from their intimate show

Thrash legends Metallica celebrated the debut of their own “Maximum Metallica” channel on SiriusXM with an exclusive performance in front of a star-studded audience on August 28, 2025. As reported from theprp, for that event, the ensemble performed 14 songs under an outdoor tent at The Stephen Talkhouse in Amagansett, New York, to an audience of about 500 people. Paul McCartney, Sylvester Stallone, and other well-known friends and admirers were reportedly present at the performance, as were members of the band’s fan club who managed to obtain tickets. The band released the performance of the penultimate song from that performance, which is the title track to their 1986 hit song “Master Of Puppets,” below on September 10.
