Metallica announced as headliner of Germany’s first Download Festival

The popular Download festival is set to take place for the first time in Germany in summer 2022, and what better band to headline the first summer of the festival than the legendary Metallica?

Probably not many, which is why Metallica has the honour of headlining the festival alongside Sabaton and Five Finger Death Punch.

The festival will take place on 24 June at the Hockenheimring near Frankfurt.
