Meshuggah have officially unveiled their 2027 North American anniversary tour, putting an end to speculation created by early venue listings. Billed as The Forty-Year Anomaly Tour, the trek will feature Testament and Blood Incantation as special guests.
The lengthy itinerary is split into two sections: a February 12 opening in Toronto leads through Canada and the eastern United States, with a second leg starting in Vancouver on April 15. The currently announced run concludes at Milwaukee Metal Fest on May 14.
Red Rocks debut and major festival appearances
Among the noteworthy stops is Meshuggah’s debut performance at Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Morrison, Colorado, on April 21. The tour also includes appearances associated with Welcome to Rockville in Florida and Sonic Temple in Ohio, along with its Milwaukee finale.
The first section includes Detroit on February 16, Chicago on February 17, Brooklyn on March 3 and Boston on March 6. Western dates include Seattle on April 17, Oakland on April 24, Inglewood on April 25 and Phoenix on April 27. Further May stops include Houston, Atlanta and Greensboro.
Tickets for the new dates go on general sale on Friday, October 30 at 10 a.m. local time; the artist presale begins October 27. Full dates, ticket links and any venue changes should be checked at Meshuggah’s official tour page.
The band’s fortieth-anniversary celebrations follow a career that has made its complex rhythmic approach a cornerstone of progressive and extreme metal.
