Thrash metal pioneers Megadeth have released the third single from their forthcoming self-titled final studio album, as per theprp. The track, titled “Let There Be Shred,” functions as a confident homage to Megadeth’s live performances and offers a preview of the concluding chapter of their multi-platinum career. The album is scheduled for release on January 23rd, accompanied by a global farewell tour projected to span three to five years before the band concludes their career. A music video for “Let There Be Shred” was directed by Keith J Leman. Additionally, Megadeth have organized a special in-person listening event, adopting the track’s name to showcase their new record.
