Megadeth release a new trailer for “Behind The Mask”

Megadeth, the legendary icons of metal, present “Megadeth: Behind The Mask,” the global cinema event that will debut on big screens around the world to coincide with the release of the band’s latest studio album scheduled for 23 January. The film will be screened in over 1,000 cinemas in more than 35 countries, and tickets are available starting on 11th December. In “Megadeth: Behind The Mask,” Dave Mustaine looks back on four decades of the band’s history, sharing previously untold stories, creative insights and personal reflections. Audiences will be treated to the world premiere of Megadeth‘s new self-titled album in its entirety, enhanced by a retrospective interview covering the band’s 40-year career and Mustaine’s track-by-track reflections on the band’s latest studio album. This special listening party will offer an exclusive first listen to a landmark musical project. “Megadeth: Behind The Mask” is an immersive celebration of one of the most influential bands in metal history, capturing their legacy and ushering in a powerful new chapter.

Ahead of the film and album release, Megadeth — Dave Mustaine, Teemu Mäntysaari (lead, rhythm and acoustic guitars), James LoMenzo (bass) and Dirk Verbeuren (drums) — have released two tracks: “I Don’t Care” and “Tipping Point“, the first single from the album. Megadeth have also announced a special bonus track from the album: a reimagined version of “Ride The Lightning“, which Mustaine co-wrote with James Hetfield, Cliff Burton and Lars Ulrich of Megadeth, and which was the title track of their 1984 album. The album, released through Dave Mustaine’s Tradecraft label in collaboration with the Frontiers Label Group’s new BLKIIBLK label, can be pre-ordered HERE.
