Megadeth announces their own cryptocurrency

Many different forms of cryptocurrency have recently emerged, ranging from NFT technology to the meme-inspired Dogecoin. Now metal giants Megadeth have announced their own cryptocurrency called $MEGA.

The band says the following on their website:

“$MEGA is the official cryptocurrency of Megadeth and our community. By buying, holding, and transacting with $MEGA, fans will gain access to exclusives and premium benefits.”

“Cyber Army members that also hold $MEGA will unlock additional exclusives, access, and offers. Premium and Digital Cyber Army members automatically get some free $MEGA.”

Cyber Army refers to the band’s own fan club.
