Eluveitie have announced that Matteo Sisti has parted ways with the band following the Anv Rising Part 1 European Tour. Sisti, who joined the band in 2014, announced his decision to leave the folk group firstly at the show in Italy (his native country) and at the last date of the tour in Hannover, Germany. It’s worth noting that Sisti’s first and last concert with Eluveitie took place in November in Hamburg. Sisti has played for Eluveitie various instruments, including bagpipes, whistles, acoustic guitar, mandolin, uilleann pipes, bodhrán and more recently even the hurdy-gurdy.
