Massive Nordic Blast – check out the gallery of Arch Enemy, In Flames and Soilwork tearing down the Zenith of Paris

On the 8th of October the Zenith arena of Paris was taken by a Nordic storm as the mastodonths of Swedish melodic death metal –Soilwork, In Flames and Arch Enemy – united for a “Rising from the North” tour were sharing the stage that night. Soilwork were opening the show, shaking up the audience with their major hits, as well the songs from the latest album “Övergivenheten”. In Flames followed right after with no delay, delivering their finest material from throughout the decades, and I myself got sincerely amused how Anders Friden was calling songs like “Coerced Coexistence” or “The Mirror’s Truth” disco songs:) Arch Enemy crowned the show and recieved the crazily warm welcome, as the band historically, even since Angela Gossow’s era, has been super-popular in France. That night the band treated the audience not only with their finest performance and Alissa White-Gluz’s canadian french, but also with a new unreleased song “Liars and Thieves“, which was performed the second time only (you should hear the booing in the audience after Alissa had told that the first time was in the UK haha), and which will be available on the Arch Enemy‘s upcoming album.

I tried my best to capture the atmosphere of this outstanding show, so please be welcome to enjoy the gallery below.
