London-based pop-soul artist Martin Yates has shared a new emotionally charged single titled “Through It All”. Listen to the track below.

The song, characterised by upbeat melodies, playful brass arrangements and a powerful, confident voice, features soulful backing vocals, pop flair and hints of Bruno Mars, Robbie Williams and the late Amy Winehouse, all delivered through Yates’s own unique DNA and talent.

“Through It All” is the second single from the UK artist’s upcoming EP, which is set for release in the Autumn.

Drawing inspiration from classic Motown and ’60s soul, as well as modern artists such as Amy Winehouse, Plan B, and Duffy, “Through It All” conveys a universal message of heartbreak and loneliness in relationships. However, it does so in an undeniably energetic way, with a foot-stomping beat.

Martin Yates states: “Sometimes you can give someone everything you have and still not be enough for them. But that doesn’t always mean you stop loving them“.

Hailing from the UK, Martin Yates is a soulful singer-songwriter who brings a renewed, fresh, and honest element to music that hasn’t been heard in years. Yates is an artist in a category all by himself, unafraid to delve into the depths of the most personal moments in his life. With just one EP to his name, Yates has the ability to draw people in with both his lyrics and his voice, which tells a story in itself.

He has carved a niche in the music scene with his narrative style, turning deeply personal stories into memorable melodies. Having already released his debut EP, Yates continues to evoke raw emotion and connection in his music.

Martin Yates is playing at The Half Moon (London) on November 9. Grab your tickets here.
