Marilyn Manson (Brian Warner) is now appealing some previously dismissed claims from his defamation suit against his ex-fiancée Evan Rachel Wood and her associate Ilma Gore.

It’s important to know that in 2021 Evan Rachel Wood claimed that Manson abused her, which let to over a dozen other woman also coming forward with similar allegations. One of these women, Ashley Morgan Smithline, later dropped her suit against Marilyn Manson, claiming she was manipulated by Wood, Gore and other related individuals into making the allegations against Manson. Wood denied Smithline’s claims. After this Marilyn Manson sued Wood and Gore in a defamation suit, as he claimed Wood and Gore were orchestrating women to talk against him. This suit was then struck down by a judge in May 2023.

But now Marilyn Manson is trying to revive these exact already dismissed claims – that Wood and Gore are manipulating women into suing against him. As for a new report from Rolling Stone, Manson claims he now has evidence of a forged letter of an FBI investigation. Manson‘s legal team commented: “the forged letter would be used to recruit, encourage, and convince people to claim that they were abused by Warner [Marilyn Manson], because they were being led to believe that Warner was a threat to their safety and under federal investigation.” Marilyn Manson‘s legal team claims that this forged letter is the evidence that Wood and co. actively “campaigned” against him.
