Måneskin vocalist Damiano David has released a new solo single, entitled “Next Summer“, along with a music video. You can check out the video below:
The music video was directed by “Younuts!”, a directing duo based in Italy’s capital Rome, consisting of Antonio Usbergo and Niccoló Celaia.
Damiano David comments on the new release as follows:
“At first listen, the song speaks about youthful love—an unrequited summer romance. But on a deeper level, it reveals a much larger reflection. It’s an allegory of life—How sometimes we can be prisoners of ourselves, our fears, our insecurities, our inability to change. Our failure to see the world and life from a different perspective in the crucial and defining moments of existence.”

After “Silverlines” and “Born With A Broken Heart“, “Next Summer” is the third single from Damiano David‘s upcoming solo debut album which is set for a release this year. It is not yet known whether “Nothing Breaks Like A Heart” will also be featured on Damiano David‘s solo debut album.
