If I Can Dream” is featured on the soundtrack of the upcoming Baz Luhrmann biopic “Elvis”:

“Feeling so grateful to have had the chance of covering the King for Baz Luhrmann’s upcoming movie. And especially to have spent one day recording in that moving, vibrant place that is Graceland, TN – home and sanctuary of the greatest artist to ever walk the Earth. We left our hearts in there and we can’t wait to share all of these emotions with you”

– Måneskin

In an interview with NME, Måneskin frontman Damiano David comments on “If I Can Dream” as follows:

“The meaning of the song is very contemporary: ‘If I can dream of a better land / Where all my brothers walk hand in hand’. It’s about uniting, it’s about peace, freedom and happiness, and it’s coming out at the right moment. We’re really proud of what we did, and to be part of this project. I have a feeling it’s going to be amazing.”

In the same interview, Måneskin guitarist Thomas Raggi adds:

“Elvis is an amazing artist, so it was great to just be able to contribute and pay tribute. We recorded the song in a really special moment during the writing sessions for the album.”
