Månegarm Open Air 2026 – Day 1 Photo Report

Metalheads gathered in Norrtälje this weekend for another awesome edition of Månegarm Open Air 2026. Friday was, as usual, dedicated to the festival’s folk lineup of the festival, with Fejd, Suttung, Garmarna and Månegarm‘s acoustic set.

The festival takes place at Pythagoras Industrimuseum, a former engine factory and now industrial museum in Norrtälje. It is also a very intimate festival, where it is not unusual to run into the musicians around the festival area, grab a beer and have a chat with them between shows. Alongside the concerts, there were also tattoo artists, demonstrations and fun staged battles to check out.
