Malevolent Creation announce change in the lineup

Malevolent Creation, a historical death metal band, announced on November 29th that vocalist/guitarist Deron Miller would be joining them again, as reported by theprp. Miller, best known for fronting CKY in the past, last collaborated with Malevolent Creation between 2022 and 2024. The Buffalo, New York locals released a statement this morning about their most recent roster and outlined some preliminary plans for their upcoming studio album, “Return Fire.”

It is official!! Malevolent Creation has returned to a 5 piece with Deron Miler returning on vocals/ guitar, Jesse Jolly bass/vocals, Chris Cannella guitars, Ronnie Parmer drums and Phil Fasciana guitars. We feel this will be the best way to retain the classic MC sound and now with 3 guitars we can do things we have wanted to do but never could. 3 part guitar harmonies and playing songs that have not been played in many years. Were going to start working on our 14th studio album in January and there will be no live shows in 2026( never say never) but finishing our new album is top priority. Let’s welcome Deron Miller back into the band and this line up should be very intense on our new album ‘Return Fire‘

Malevolent Creation started their career in 1987 in Buffalo, NY, where they recorded and distributed their first demo. In 1988 they moved to a more fertile music scene in Florida and produced their second demo with a pressing of 1,000 copies. Finally, a third demo the following year, brought Malevolent Creation a record deal with Roadrunner and the first full-length album titled “The Ten Commandments”, considered by many to be one of the strongest Death Metal debut albums.

The recording process for the following albums, such as “Retribution”, and “Stillborn”, were riddled with line-up changes, the beginning of a common occurrence that has since become a Malevolent Creation trademark.
