Deathcore fans packed into the Theatre at the Great Canadian Casino Resort as Lorna Shore’s 2025 North American Tour stormed into Toronto. The atmosphere was electric, a restless buzz of anticipation coursing through the venue as the crowd prepared for a night of pure heaviness.
Although PeelingFlesh was unable to join the Canadian leg of the tour, the evening lost none of its intensity. Shadow of Intent unleashed a crushing set filled with precision and brutality, igniting the first pits with their signature deathcore assault. The Black Dahlia Murder followed with a feral, high-energy performance that left no head unbanged and no circle pit unmoved.
By the time Lorna Shore took the stage, anticipation had reached its peak. Touring in support of their latest album “I Feel the Everblack Festering Within Me“, the band struck a perfect balance between new material and fan favorites. Frontman Will Ramos commanded the stage with his ferocious and versatile vocal range, while guitarists Adam De Micco and Andrew O’Connor delivered the brutal yet symphonic riffs that define the band’s unmistakable sound.
Even after more than twenty shows on this tour, every band on the bill brought sharpness and raw emotion. The performances felt cinematic in scope, yet uncompromisingly heavy. Lorna Shore proved once again why they’ve become the torchbearers of modern deathcore — constantly pushing the genre’s boundaries and expanding its emotional depth.
With only a handful of dates remaining on this leg, this tour is a must-see for any metal fan. If you want to witness the future of deathcore in full force, Lorna Shore are not a band to miss.
