Looks like Radiohead is awakening from its slumber

Radiohead fans, now might be the time to stay alert. The situation is such that for the first time since the release of Kid A Mnesia, all five members of the band have established a joint company. Pitchfork reported on the matter.

Why is RHEUK25 LLP, founded on March 10th, newsworthy? This is because in recent years, the band members have had a habit of establishing new companies just before upcoming releases.

Radiohead pulled the same move before the release of “A Moon Shaped Pool “(Dawn Chorus LLP and Dawnnchoruss Ltd.), “In Rainbows” (Xurbia Xendless Ltd.), and “The King of Limbs” (Ticker Tape Ltd.). “Kid A Mnesia” was preceded by a company called Spin With a Grin.

The same practice has applied outside of Radiohead as well, as Thom Yorke and Jonny Greenwood’s (along with Tom Skinner’s) The Smile established a company called Self Help Tapes LLP just before their debut album.

So, we’ll have to wait and see what purpose the gentlemen have set up this new company for this time.
