‘Long Live Def Leppard’ – a new documentary about the band to be released in 2027

The North American rights to the first-ever authorised feature-length documentary on Def Leppard, “Long Live Def Leppard,” which is a comprehensive and all-access account of the band’s incredible journey from its modest beginnings in the United Kingdom to a global fandom that continues to this day, have been acquired by Bleecker Street’s event cinema division Crosswalk, as per Blabbermouth. Jeff Feuerzeig (“The Devil And Daniel Johnston”, “Author: The JT LeRoy Story”) directed the documentary, which was also produced by Alice Rhodes and Sam Bridger for VISE Studios, Nicholas Ferrall and Jeanne Elfant Festa of White Horse Pictures, Danny Gabai of The Searchers Documentary Films, and Brian T. Nugent of Sobey Road Entertainment. The movie is scheduled to open in theatres in early 2027.

Def Leppard continues to have a lasting influence on rock music, pushing boundaries with their thrilling live performances. They have sold over 110 million records worldwide, won two prestigious diamond awards in the United States, and been inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
