“Lisbon Under The Moonspell” – second 30 anniversary special show in Portugal

On 31st October in Porto and on 1st of November in Lisbon, Portuguese gothic metal legends Moonspell, played special anniversary shows. This year Moonspell celebrates 30 years of music career. As a big fan of this band, I’ve always dreamed to see them in their homeland, so I decided to go to Lisbon. It was worth to see. The show took place in famous Coliseu dos Recreios in the centre of this beautiful city. Special prepared concerts were full of attractions: many guests on the stage, musicians, singers, dancers. Concert started with special wishes from Moonspell friends, well known metal musicians. In the begining we could watch old school band performances from early 90. Setlist contained songs from all band’s releases, demo’s and first album’s also. It was so long and unforgettable show. I’m sure I won’t see this kind of Moonspell performance anymore in the future. Besides live show, it was a special exhibition with some stage props from the past. Samael was a special guest for these concerts. They played whole “Passage” album in Lisbon.
