Lisbon is currently the best place for metal gigs, according to a recent survey
Finland is widely regarded as the promised land of metal music, with a huge number of bands and gigs for the metal-loving public. However, according to a recent comparison by Money, the best city for metal music fans today is Lisbon.
The study measured 30 different cities and found that in Lisbon, 14.1% of upcoming concerts are metal band gigs. The promised city for rock gigs, meanwhile, was revealed to be Liverpool, where 24% of upcoming gigs are in the rock genre.
