Lisbon, Portugal technical deathcore band The Voynich Code has dropped a new single, “Earth Sleeper.” The single is now available to listen below and on streaming platforms.
The band formed in 2013 and their 2017 debut full-length “Aqua Vitae” took them through extensive European tours, festival appearances, and a headlining run through Japan and Asia. The Voynich Code signed to Unique Leader Records in 2023 and released their sophomore album shortly after. “Insomnia” arrived in October 2023, as a 12-track record mixed and mastered by Christian Donaldson.
“Earth Sleeper” follows the May 2025 single “Serpents Meridian.” That release also marked a significant lineup change. Jack Kinsey stepped in as frontman, replacing Nelson Rebelo, who departed at that time. Jack Higgs joined as guitarist, while Vinicius Cunha shifted from guitar to bass. André Afonso stayed on guitar, and Daniel Torgal continued on drums.
