LIK releases new single “Morgue Rat” from upcoming album

Swedish death metal band LIK is preparing to release its fourth studio album “Necro” on April 18th via Metal Blade Records. The album will feature ten tracks that combine old-school death metal sound with progressive elements while maintaining the band’s intense style.

Meanwhile, the band’s latest single “Morgue Rat” is now available to listen to. The song features a guest appearance by singer Linnea Landstedt (Tyranex, Ice Age) and tells of the dark tendencies of a character who works with corpses.

The upcoming album was recorded at NBS Studios in Söderfors and produced by Lawrence Mackrory, who has worked with the band since their debut album. Nick Holmes (Paradise Lost, Bloodbath) and Mackrory will also appear on the album.
