British rock iconic singer Liam Gallagher has announced an intimate show at London venue KOKO on August 9 to celebrate the release of his upcoming live album, “Knebworth 22”. You can pre-order the LP here.
The former Oasis frontman will play in London’s recently restored KOKO venue to just over 1400 people. It will be his only indoor performance this season.
Pre-sale access to tickets begins on 5 July at 10am BST and will be offered to all fans who pre-order a copy of Knebworth 22 before 3pm on 4 July BST. The pre-sale access code will be sent via email at 5pm BST the same day.
Liam Gallagher commented on the new release: “So we recorded the Knebworth gigs we did last year. We all sound Biblical, turn it up ENJOY, LGx.”
“Knebworth 22” will come out on August 11, two days after the intimate London show. The LP documents Gallagher’s two-night residency at the Hertfordshire site in June 2022, the same place where Oasis had famously played 26 years earlier. Across the two nights, 170,000 fans saw Gallagher playing at the venue.
Alongside the announcement comes a live clip of the rock singer performing “Roll It Over“, a song which was originally featured on Oasis’ fourth studio LP, 2000’s “Standing On The Shoulders Of Giants”.
