Producer Josh Schroeder has joined Left To Suffer in the studio to record tracks for their upcoming fourth studio album, as per theprp. Below is a short video that the deathcore band posted yesterday, March 24, announcing those sessions.

In 2019, Left to Suffer was established in Atlanta, Georgia. Together with CJ McCreery, who is currently the vocalist for Immortal Disfigurement and formerly of Lorna Shore, they released their debut single, “Burden“. In 2020, they released “A Year of Suffering”, their debut album. Levi Dunn, the drummer, left the group amicably in January 2021 to pursue a career as a tattoo artist. Alex Vavra joined the group as their new drummer shortly after. Left to Suffer‘s “On Death” EP was published in April 2021. The band’s breakout album, “On Death”, included appearances from bands like Chelsea Grin, Alpha Wolf, and Crystal Lake.

They also created an audiobook based on the ideas and lyrics of the EP shortly after it was released. Will Ramos of Lorna Shore and Ricky Hoover of Ov Sulfur teamed with Left to Suffer on the track “D.N.R.” in October 2021. The group self-released a six-song EP called “And Dying Forever” in July 2022. Joshua Travis of Emmure mixed “And Dying Forever”. After that, Carnifex and Left to Suffer toured the United States in October. They joined fellow Atlantan band Woe, Is Me for a gig in Atlanta in November 2022. The band toured North America in April and May of 2023, supporting Ov Sulfur and Chelsea Grin and Carnifex.

“Feral”, Left to Suffer‘s second full-length album, was released in May 2023. “Feral” was described as a “phenomenal effort for the band” that “showcased exactly why they are a force to be reckoned with” by Tyler Lubke in Wall of Sound. The song “Primitive Urge” features Joe Badolato of Fit for an Autopsy, while “Artificial Anatomy” features trap metal artist Kim Dracula.
