Laura Prits is an Estonian singer-songwriter whose work blends emotional storytelling with a strong visual and social narrative. Known for her powerful stage presence, visually and choreographically rich shows, and international collaborations, Laura uses music as a platform to explore themes of resilience, identity, and empowerment.

Eesti Laul 2026, Estonia’s national selection for the Eurovision Song Contest, participant Laura Prits has unveiled the official music video for her competition entry, “Warrior”, expanding the project beyond its lyric video released a month earlier. Such a release strategy was a deliberate choice, allowing the song’s message to resonate with audiences first before being further enhanced through visual storytelling.

Warrior” explores the journey of reclaiming inner strength and the courage of breaking free from what no longer serves you. The song emphasizes that courage is not only about independence but also about the strength it takes to ask for, accept, and offer help.

The song and the project have a strong international background. The track was written at the RigaLive Songwriting Camp in Latvia by Laura Prits and Edgars Jercums, and produced and mixed by Latvian producer Jānis “JJ Lush” Jačmenkins.

Additionally, both in the music video and on the Eesti Laul stage, Laura Prits is accompanied by her international band: Elijah Wood (USA) on drums, Heidi Meri (Finland) on guitar, and Alec Aleksejeva (Estonia) on bass.

The music video premiered on 14 January at Artis Cinema in Tallinn, where audiences gathered for a special cinematic screening. Directed by Martin Koldits in collaboration with artistic director Estookin and their team, the video offers a visually striking and emotionally raw interpretation of the song’s message.

Following the premiere, guests joined an intimate panel discussion with Laura Prits and her invited speakers, who shared the personal story behind “Warrior” and its mission to raise awareness of domestic violence. The evening also marked the opening of a charity exhibition of denim and leather jackets, featuring interpretations by seven artists, symbolizing strength and resilience. All the proceeds benefit the Tallinn Women’s Crisis Center.

Laura Prits will perform “Warrior” at the Eesti Laul 2026 Song Contest final on 14 February. Watch the music video:
