Lamb of God have unleashed their new single “Parasocial Christ” along with a Jon Vulpine directed video that digs straight into the digital overload of modern life. The track follows their recent singles from this year and keeps the band’s momentum rolling with sharp riffs and a message that hits hard.
Vocalist Randy Blythe uses the song to call out how the attention economy pulls people into endless scrolling. He says it funnels power and cash toward those who already control the platforms. He also notes that many listeners spend hours watching the lives of people they will never meet. This behavior turns each user into a product sold to someone else. Although he sees the irony in sharing that message online, he still urges fans to put the phone down. According to him, real life waits outside the screen, and it deserves more time than a feed does.
The track itself leans into a classic Lamb of God groove with a sharp, aggressive edge. It moves fast, hits heavy and leaves little room to breathe. The band sound like they are pushing back at the world’s noise with something loud enough to cut through it.
The release arrives as the band prepare for their spring North American headlining tour in 2026. The run kicks off in March with Kublai Khan TX, Fit For An Autopsy and Sanguisugabogg joining as support. The lineup promises a stacked set of nights for anyone craving a proper blast of live heaviness, and the new single sets the tone for what is ahead.
