Lamb of God sign with Century Media; watch the video for the new single “Sepsis”

Lamb of God returns with “Sepsis,” a visceral and menacing new single released via Century Media Records/Epic Records (US/CAN), marking the GRAMMY® Award-nominated band’s first original song since their critically acclaimed 2022 album “Omens.” Watch the video here:

Produced by Josh Wilbur, the three-and-a-half-minute track is accompanied by a raw, lo-fi video offering a moody, unfiltered look at the suburbs of Richmond. Directed by Gianfranco Svagelj, the video captures the slow-burning tension of the song.

Mark Morton comments:

‘Sepsis’ is a celebration of the local underground bands in Richmond that we really admired when we were forming Burn the Priest, like Breadwinner, Sliang Laos and Ladyfinger. Even though they never received widespread attention outside of Richmond, they were the bands we always listened to. The song references that stuff in a way that’s a direct line to where we were coming from when we were in the basement writing our first songs.

Sepsis” comes in a pivotal year for Lamb of God. In 2025, the band celebrated its 25th anniversary, performed the historic “Back to the Beginning” concert and subsequently released its own interpretation of Black Sabbath‘s “Children of the Grave,” as well as participating in several festivals, including Inkcarceration and Louder Than Life, and a headlining concert at Richmond’s new 7,500-capacity outdoor venue, the Allianz Amphitheatre, during its opening season.

In addition, the band signed a worldwide (excluding US/CAN) deal with Century Media Records. Dennis Moll, A&R manager at Century Media Records, commented on the signing:

We are thrilled to welcome Lamb of God, one of the most iconic and influential bands in heavy music, to the Century Media Records family.
Their recent appearance at Ozzy Osbourne’s historic final show in Birmingham, along with their extraordinary cover of Black Sabbath’s Children of the Grave, once again underscores their timeless importance and creative power within the scene. We are grateful for the trust the band and its team have placed in us and look forward to building an incredible new chapter together.
