Lakeview’s self-titled debut album is out now

Genre-blending country-rock duo Lakeview releases a self-titled debut album, out now via Snakefarm in cooperation with Gravel Road (stream/download HERE). The highly anticipated project has been years in the making for the duo, comprised of songwriters Jesse Denaro and Luke Healy, who have been building their devoted fanbase, the ‘Home Team,’ from countless dates on the road, true-to-life storytelling and unique bridging of both rock and country.

After amassing almost 115M streams across a handful of previously released fan-favourite singles, the 18-track project marks the first full-length album from Denaro and Healy, who first connected over their blue-collar jobs and metal-core roots. The songwriters’ diverse musical influence is ever present on the project, with the duo writing on every track of this debut album.

What I Know Now,” the most recent release from their album, is a stadium rock show-ready anthem with heavy drums, lively guitar and lyrics of a classic country heartbreak song. Other stand-out tracks from the album include irresistible country-rock jam “Wrong Side of the Track,” betrayal ballad “Here Lies a Girl,” and reflective “Before I Die” as well as “Home Team” and “Loser,” which saw massive streaming success for the duo and amassed more than 45M streams. The 18-tracks highlight all sides of the pair of songwriters. From songs that will make you want to crack open a cold one like “Bad Day to Be a Beer” to the head-banging “W.H.Y” and “I Don’t Call,” which showcases the softer side of the duo both lyrically and in a stripped-down production.

This album has been a long time in the making. It represents who we are as artists and as individuals, this project IS Lakeview and we put everything we had into making this. Jesse Denaro

We couldn’t have done this without the support of the Home Team. Thank you for supporting us for so many years, on the road. Whether you bought a ticket to a show, streamed our singles or picked up a shirt at the merch table, your support has meant the world to us.

Luke Healy

Lakeview shows no signs of slowing down in 2024 as they make huge inroads in both country and rock. They’re the only act to have singles currently being played on both Sirius XM The Highway with “What I Know Now” and Sirius XM Octane with “Money Where Your Mouth Is” which has reached top 5 on their Big Uns Countdown and placed in power rotation.

Lakeview’s unique brand of country and rock has struck a chord both in the states and abroad. Breaking Benjamin’s Ben Burley asked the band to join his amphitheatre tour for the next 2 months across the USA. And after an appearance on last years C2C festival in Europe, the duo have built a fan base worldwide which will see them headline November across Europe / UK including an already sold-out London show. Denaro encapsulates the duo’s journey and their deep connection with their fans.

Our fans, much like us, are the unsung heroes of their families and friends, working tirelessly and making sacrifices. As many people in a Lakeview crowd wear Wranglers, boots, and cowboy hats, but also Metallica shirts, black skinny jeans, and have face tattoos. By the night’s end, everyone realizes they’re all the same at the core. Jesse Denaro

About Lakeview

Tattooed, rural, and blue-collar country tandem Lakeview (Jesse Denaro and Luke Healy) foremost have an unwavering faith in God and a belief in family and community. Combine that with metal-core roots distilled into country hits like “Home Team” by a love of early 2000s pop and rock-aimed country, plus contemporary, radio-ready sounds. What arrives is an act as comfortable playing in Chinese restaurants, church basements, and VFW halls as they are in larger arenas. Like their fans, they’re hard-working heroes who have sacrificed much while pursuing musical success.
