Southern California melodic-crust outfit Lagrimas has just dropped “Death to All Oppressors”, a blistering new anthem recorded in their DIY studio under raw, unfiltered conditions. The band teamed up with Tijuana-based producer Patrick Alexander from Habak at Cacho Studio to mix and master the track, giving it a polished yet fierce edge that complements its uncompromising message.
Clocking in at just under three minutes, the song packs an emotional punch, channeling frustration into empowerment. Built on searing riffs and pounding drums, the lyrics recount witnessing exhausting sacrifices made just to survive—family members burning out in soul-draining work, and the narrator grappling with the same oppressive grind. The chorus stands as a rallying cry: a vow to fight for those who never got to see the world they bled for, defending the land even at the cost of one’s own life.
“Death to All Oppressors” marks the band’s first new material since June 2024’s full-length album “A Life of Destruction” and follows a June 2025 Bandcamp listing for the standalone single. The track is now streaming across platforms.
