US sludge metal band Kylesa has revealed their new line-up and announced their first return shows in the US. The band will perform in their hometown Savannah on December 4th at District Live and in New York on December 6th at Le Poisson Rouge. The New York show will also feature screamo legends pageninetynine.

The band also revealed their new line-up in an interview with Decibel magazine. Founding members Phillip Cope and Laura Pleasants will be joined by drummer Roy Mayorgan and bassist John John Jessen, both known from New York crust punk band Nausea.

Pleasants said that Jesse contacted him on Instagram offering his services, which eventually led to Mayorgan joining the band as well. The band members expressed mutual admiration, and both Jesse and Mayorga have been longtime fans of the band.

The upcoming US shows will complement the band’s previously announced festival appearances at this year’s Roadburn Festival in the Netherlands and Prepare the Ground Festival in Toronto.
