Killswitch Engage drop powerful “Aftermath” video and gear up for Summer of Loud Tour

Killswitch Engage have released a compelling new video for “Aftermath,” one of the standout tracks from their latest album “This Consequence,” which dropped on February 21st via Metal Blade. The album’s launch was backed by a successful Winter/Spring 2025 tour, saw “I Believe” break into the Top 10.

Now, the band is using their platform to spotlight something bigger than themselves. The video for “Aftermath,” directed by Good Eye: Music Visuals, was created in collaboration with leading environmental organizations to shed light on the destruction of the planet and ways we can all take action to reverse it.

The track itself tackles the emotional toll of devastation—whether it’s from war, tragedy, or personal loss—and the strength it takes to rebuild. It reflects on the chaos, betrayal, and suffering people endure, while offering a message of resilience and empowerment. It’s not just about mourning what’s been lost, but about finding the courage to move forward and make a difference.

The band emphasizes that everyone has a role to play in healing the planet, encouraging listeners to get involved and support environmental efforts—big or small. Partner organizations highlighted in the video include Basel Action Network, Clean Water Action, Riverkeeper, and Save Coastal Wildlife.

The band isn’t slowing down anytime soon. They’ll hit the road again starting June 21st on the massive Summer of Loud Tour, sharing the stage with Beartooth, I Prevail, and Parkway Drive.
